Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 數位學習科技學系碩士班 === 101 === The study is to develop an online music improvisation system based on somatosensory interaction. The proposed system consists of two modules, including online music improvisation and a tutorial. The online improvisation module applies the HTML5 Websocket communication technology through peer to peer transmission to send skeleton data between two players, then the module uses Canvas dynamic graphics technology to show another player’s skeleton and visual effects on the interface. Users can use the browser to play online music improvisation without installing plug-ins and applications. The tutorial further consists of three functionalities, including interface introduction, impromptu style, and starting a tempo. The purpose of the tutorial is to let users understand the way of operating the interface step by step, and to let users practice music improvisation with online interaction. To evaluate the usability of the proposed system, the Jakob Nielsen questionnaire (System Usability Scale, SUS) has been used in this study. The results showed that most of the users had self-confidence to operate the system and thought that the system was easy to use.
