The questionnaire includes four parts : self- efficacy, seeking information, practice, and concentration. There are 738 questionnaires be issued, and recovery rate is 75.1%, as well as valid rate is 88.45%. Statistical methods by SPSS18.0 software employed in the study are: average, variance, percentage, t- test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient and Scheffe method. The analysis of the data reveals the following main conclusions: 1.Most wind players spend two hours on practice per day, and there are significant differences in gender and music background at high school level. 2.Most wind players practice their instruments one or two times per day, and there are significant differences in gender, grade, and music background at high school level. 3.Most wind players have a middle degree of self-efficacy, and there are significant differences in gender. 4.Most wind players experience distraction during their own practice. 5.Most wind players will ask for the support when they get problems in practice, and there are significant differences in gender. The teachers are the most wanted resources for the players when they get problems. According to the conclusions, there are some suggestions for wind players, wind teachers, and future researchers.
