Through the theoretical research and creative practice, with the spirit of abstract expressionism, the author explained how the thought was originated and developed on the subjects of color memory, line color, subjective space, imaginative overview and transformation. The content of the thesis is as follows: Preface: the motivation, aim, methodolog y, procedure and scope of this creative research, as well as the structure of this thesis. Chapter one: the theory basis and in that, the author explored the spirit of abstract expressionism and the variety of forms of expression, as well as the related artists: Pollock, Gorky, Rothko. The author also noted how color memory and color sensation influenced the artist works. Chapter two: terminology of the forms and content of the research. The form dealt with three factors: the transformation of the wings of the butterfly, lines and spiritual space. The content explained the accumulation of creative energy, clarified the thought process of the creative work and the mental state, and combined the butterfly wing with the imaginative overhead of the landscape through the form of Abstract Expressionism. Chapter three: the process of the creative application which centered around the development of the work; a brief explanation of the use of oil paint and the analysis of individual work. Summary: in coordination of the viewpoint and the aim of the research, the author expressed the ideas and gains from this research work. The creative application at this stage enhanced the ability of the author to solve problems and apply the knowledge while creating. It also revealed the hidden world of interior sensations, which greatly benefit the future progress of the author ’s creation. none 朱紋皆 2013 學位論文 ; thesis 86 zh-TW
