碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 教育學系課程與教學碩士班 === 101 === The purposes of this study were to explore how the Korean National curriculum has been changed so far and how the textbook system is closely linked to the curriculum, and examined the textbook polices in other foreign countries having a similar curriculum system to Korea and discussed its implications for Korea, and described the new revision system of the national curriculum and identified the textbook policy appropriate for the new national curriculum. This study employed the literature review of previous research, and document analysis of textbook systems in foreign countries. The findings of this study are summarized as follows. 1.The current Korean national curriculum system is in a period of transition from ‘one time-complete revision’ of the national curriculum to ‘frequent-partial revision’ of the one. 2.The Textbook policy is from government-issued and authorized textbooks towards increasing approved textbooks. 3.In other foreign countries, textbooks of all grades are evaluated at one time, but in Korea they are conducted yearly evaluation of all grades. 4.The 2010 Textbook Reform system for 2009 curriculum policy has not been yet adequate preparation.
