Due to the majority of electronics manufacturers are SMEs(small & medium-sized enterprises),under consideration of manpower, cost & terminal products life cycle is getting shorter and shorter, the chip suppliers rather prefer the solution providers to integrate a set of solution or Turn Key system by their capacity of software and hardware especially for those downstream manufacturers who are incapable of R&D area. Only a slight modification of appearance will easily hit the market. Through the system solution providers, the chip suppliers not only increase their market share and provide technical services but also enlarge their business scope with Small & medium-sized enterprises whom are impossible to deal with directly before. But by the trend of Big getting Bigger and the rapid development of technology, now the market expansion strategy somehow changes the situation. More and more large-scale chip manufacturers and distributors merge smaller ones then to decrease the importance of system solution providers & increase difficulty to highlight the value what they offer. Our research takes a small-sized system solution provider as an example to analyze how they need to adapt themselves & find their strategy of nterprise transformation when to face serious competition. Hope our study is able to propose all useful reference and valuable suggestion for those who are facing adverse conditions.
