Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立清華大學 === 經營管理碩士在職專班 === 101 === The study is aimed to explore the application of Industry Research and Development Alliance to conduct the product technological development of new material (Silicon Carbide / SiC) in the Discrete Semiconductor Industry. The purpose of this research is to promote the competitiveness of Taiwan's industry through the development and master the product technology of new material; in the meantime, to develop Taiwan’s own inter value chain of silicon carbide industry to promote Taiwan Discrete Semiconductor Industry upgrading In this case study, we discover the specific alliance structure existed high vertical dependency、low horizontal competition value chain relationship and under the common R&D vision and consensus that it will be easy to establish the R&D alliance knowledge and technology sharing platform, sharing the R&D expertise and resources of the organization unit. Through the approach of R&D diversification、cooperation and cost-sharing and risk-sharing, this can not only expedite the new technology development but also speed up the product commercialization; meanwhile, it also can develop the key technology of silicon carbon to structure Taiwan’s own entire industrial value chain of silicon carbon. Furthermore, increase the competitiveness and promote industrial upgrading of Taiwan discrete semiconductor market. The Alliance's development must been built on trust, cooperation and sharing, which is the foundation of social capital development. This research looked into the developing relationship of the Industry R&D Alliance from three dimensions of social capital theory – structure, cognitive and relationships in order to propose a reference model for the companies who take advantages of the Industry R&D Alliance to carry out an innovative technology exploration in future.
