But successful researching achievements were often limited in academic publishing. In order to improving industries and create job opportunities, it is worth of all humankind considering about how to generate extra value through utilizing researching achievements in industry. The purpose of this research is to realize what kind of situation an academic technology might face in the process of commercialization and how to cope with them. The background of this research is based on the organizations and systems of technology commercialization in National Tsing Hua University. Through firsthand participation, this study records the team’s development and focus on how this team is formed, identifies technology from chemistry technology, find suitable application alternatives, and confirm the potential value through the technology commercialized process. Several issues are reflected by this case, which include the well-organized operation system of technology commercialization in National Tsing Hua University, a huge gap between the academic technology and industrial requirements, the positive interaction in cross-disciplinary team. And the research finally proposes recommendations for academic technology commercialized team and academic technology commercialization researchers.
