Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 科學應用與推廣學系科學教育碩士班 === 101 === Due to the impact of global warming and climate change, disasters become increasingly serious and unpredictable. To have proper emergency response skills while facing a disaster will help to save lives, so it is of great importance. This research aims to investigate and establish the required items of disaster prevention skills for the elementary school pre-service teachers. Disaster prevention related literatures were reviewed to create a research design. Meanwhile, ten experts were interviewed to collect their suggestion of disaster prevention skills for pre-service teachers. The questionnaire for Delphi Survey was developed with a reference of disaster prevention related literature and the experts’ suggestions of disaster prevention, emergency preparedness and response ability. Ten university professors, 12 disaster-prevention-related experts and 8 elementary school teachers were then invited to participate in the three-cycle survey and got following results. First, two kinds of disaster prevention skills, including “Preparedness” and “Response“ skills are required for elementary school pre-service teachers. The Preparedness skills consist six categories of disaster, which are “General safety”, “Earthquake”, “Water safety”, “Fire”, “Typhoon, Flooding and Debris flow”, and “Other Man-made disasters”. The Response skills were divided with basic skills and advanced ones. The disaster prevention skills also comprise four dimensions, the plan and preparedness before disaster, self-survival, live-saving, and rescue assistance. As a result, this research established total 55 items of disaster prevention skills for the elementary school pre-service teachers, and suggested them to obtain at least 24/42 items for preparedness skills, including 9 for General safety, 1 for Earthquake, 1 for Water safety, 7 for Fire, 2 for Typhoon, Flooding and Debris flow, and 4 items for other Man-made disasters, and 11/13 items for emergency response skills, including 7 basic and 4 advanced ones, before they finish teacher education program. These items can serve as a guide to develop related curriculum, assessment or training program of disaster prevention education for the university students and pre-service teacher, and the professional development and certification for the elementary school in-service teachers in the future.
