In order to solve the shortcomings of traditional teaching, evolving the new teaching model: flipped classroom. In flipped classroom model, students had to prepare a lesson out of school, then they had cooperative learning with the teachers and classmates. Classroom turn into a interactive place. To prepare a lesson out of school, students used mobile devices as personal study assistive devices, and used knowledge structure based adaptive testing as assessment tool. In class, students learned from each other and solved problems together by cooperative learning to achieve particular learning objectives. This study including the experimental group with 60 students and the control group with 56 students. The experimental group used flipped classroom model as teaching model, and control group used traditional teaching model, to learn unit “Ratio”. The experimental group students first watched videos and take diagnostic test by mobile devices out of school. Next day, students take cooperative learning with the teachers and classmates. The control group students first learned and do exercises on textbook at home. Next day, students take traditional teaching. After teaching, both of two groups take a test to compared the effectiveness of learning. The results shows that the learning effectiveness of flipped classroom students are better than traditional teaching students. Compared with the traditional teaching mode, students in flipped classroom has better understanding of unit “Ratio” . Students also increased learning desire in flipped classroom. The feedback of questionnaires and interviews shows both of the students and teachers are agree with flipped classroom.
