It aims to describe the messages of sorting accurately when progressing with the objective analysis in the assessment of test scores. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the researcher collected the relative documents of two-step questions, and then, by the analysis of ISM, made up a test of two-step questions to analyze the structure of the conception from the seventh unit of the fourth mathematical textbook. In process of the research, the researcher selected 22 students in the second grade of an elementary school in Taichung and made use of the sorting table of ideal gray relational analysis to find out the students in need of remedial instruction. By means of the sorting of the S-P chart from gray relational analysis, it could not only find out the students needing remedial instruction, but also obtain further remedial instruction paths. That is, ideal gray relational analysis may be an important issue in the future to imitate the same way to sort in place of gray relational analysis to accomplish the remedial instruction paths as well. Abstract
