碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 區域與社會發展學系碩士班 === 101 === Abstract This study aims to explore the association among the social-economic status, activity characteristics, and tourist attraction node characteristics of Chinese tourists groups who travel to Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area. With the aid of the satisfaction analysis, we can provide the significant information and advice to the corresponding government sections and travel agencies. The approaches of study includes the questionnaires, the field investigation and satisfaction analysis. The results and suggestions of the study are explained as follows： 1.Chinese tourist groups take "Circular Loop" at most as the visit route which is followed by " Touring Point-to-Point" And the third is " Radiating Hub " . 2.For the tourist attraction nodes of Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area, Ita Thao is the major visited attraction. The second one and third one are Shueishe and Lalu Island. 3.The social-economic status, the age and educational level, and the type of activities, the place of departure, the visit duration, and the type of accommodation play as the dominant factors on the selection of visit route pattern 4.Those who opt to go Ita Shao as their first destination and Lalu Island as their third destination are mainly from Guangdong. Those who travel to first and secondary destinations would stay for eight days, and those to third destination stay for 5 days 5. The tourist attraction node characteristics are also impacted by visit route patterns. 6. In terms of visit satisfaction, the food hygiene is situated at the first place. As for services and facilities, the arrangement of guide activities and the hygiene of restroom also get the high marks.
