Summary:碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 幼兒教育學系碩士班 === 101 === This study focused on the current statuses and differences, as well as the correlation between the creative personality and practical intelligence of students majoring in early childhood education and non-majors. The study employed questionnaires and through of the use of convenience sampling, 903 university students were selected as participants with the effective sample size of 867. For the data analyses, the mean, standard deviation , one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), and the subsequent post hoc of Scheffé procedure as well as Pearson’s correlation were applied. The results of the study are as follows: 1. The level of the creative personality and practical intelligence of early childhood education and non-early childhood education college student were both above average. 2. The level of the creative personality and practical intelligence of early childhood education college students were significant higher than non-early childhood education college students. 3. The results showed that different gender, year of study, family type, living environment and parenting types were significantly influenced the creative personality of the university students. 4. The results revealed that the different gender, year of study, family income, and living environment were significantly influenced the practical intelligence of the university students. 5. The creative personalities and practical intelligence of the university student showed a significant positive correlation.
