Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣體育運動大學 === 體育研究所 === 101 === The purpose of this study is based on computerized tomography scan of the abdominal visceral fat area results, anthropometric parameters and skinfold thickness measurements to create fast, convenient abdominal visceral fat estimation mode. Subjects were 173 adults, and divided into model group and cross-validation group. model group were 119 adults, 55 men and 64 women;cross-validation group were 54 adults, 24 men and 30 women. The anthropometric part divided into height, weight, waist circumference, hip circumference, waist-hip ratio and skinfold thickness measurements (12 parts). Using stepwise multiple regression analysis to derive appropriate prediction equation. A prediction equation was obtained that used the predictors: waist-hip ratio, age BMI gender skinfold thickness (back) and skinfold thickness (thigh). The results of study was that the correlation coefficient (r) , explained variance (r2) and standard estimation error (SEE) values of the abdominal visceral fat area of the prediction equation were 0.93, 0.87 and 15.01 cm2. These explained variance values and standard estimation error values of this study were superior to those in previous studies. Therefore, this study provides the prediction of abdominal visceral fat equation is the highly feasible and accuracy.
