Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北護理健康大學 === 運動保健研究所 === 102 === This study examines effects of outdoor brisk walking on fatigue and quality of life in high-tech industry employees. The brisk walking method was selected by a professional instructor, proceeding eight-week outdoor brisk walking exercise. One hundred and four employees who did not have regular exercise within 3 months were recruited in this study. They will be divided into experimental group (n=52) and control group (n=52) through a random sampling method. Experimental subjects join a eight-week outdoor brisk walking training program twice a week, control the maximun heart frequency from sixty to ninety percent, maintain forty-five to sixty minutes outdoor brisk walking class in the same distance. Both groups completed the pre-test and post-test of questionnaire regarding the fatigue strength and quality of life. Data analyses are using descriptive analysis, chi-square test, t-test and analysis of covariance (ANCOVA). At the end of a eight-week period exercise, the outcome as follows: (1) After the analysis of ANCOVA eliminating pre-test and age, experimental group showed more great improvement of subjective fatigue, work motivation, attention level and overall fatigue level after post-test than that before pre-test (p<.0.001). Experiment group showed more great improvement of fatigue activity after post-test than that of pre-test (p<.05). After the analysis of covariance eliminating pre-test and age, the fatigue post-test data between two groups, there were significant difference in overall fatigue(p<.05). (2) After the analysis of ANCOVA eliminating pre-test and age, experimental group showed a great improvement after pro-test in physiological health, psychology, social relationship, external environmental category and overall quality of life(p<.0001). In conclusion, the eight-week outdoor brisk walking exercise training program could greatly improve employees’s fatigues and promote their quality of life. In the future, this study can be a reference for health promotion in high teach industry.
