However, high growth is hidden behind a huge environmental cost. Thus, in recent years, the Chinese government put forward the Twelfth 5-Year Plan in order to achieve the industry transformation and stipulated that environmental protection was one of the major developments in key elements. The plan will continue to receive government funding grants and incentives in the future. Therefore, it will be the popular topic to invest environmental protection enterprise in China from Taiwan.
Using the Taiwan well-known environmental company as a case study subject, a complete study of the investment decision-making process in China, including pre-investment location selection, market analysis, the investment process-related investment structure, funding sources, and subsequent construction plans and capital expenditures, etc. Finally, assuming a financial model to predict its related investment indicators, including IRR, EBIT, NPV. According to the model predictions, showed a positive profit which means the investment is worth paying. Lastly, the research also proposed explanation for the risk during the process.
