Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中山大學 === 資訊工程學系研究所 === 101 === The popularity of smart phones makes people increasingly dependent on wireless networks. Nowadays, through the uprising of a Sensor Network environment, the Internet of Things (IoT) is gradually forming. Network application services has become more diverse, leading to conventional transmission protocols in wireless environment not being able to meet all service resources. In our paper, we improved the shortcomings of Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP) with Multi-streaming and partial reliability, and combined it with a cross-layer coordination mechanism to solve the aforementioned problems; in addition, we support dynamic QoS packet scheduling for each service resource. Our method can provide good throughput for real-time transmission and maintain less end-to-end delay than any wireless error model. Apparent from the simulation results, our proposed method has performed well in various loss models. Not to mention, our approach has less delay time and less bandwidth wastage in our simulation results. This is enough to prove that our proposed method is extremely suitable for promotion for its use in the highly flexible and variable wireless Internet of Things (IoT).
