碩士 === 國立中山大學 === 中國與亞太區域研究所 === 101 === As China‘s national power increased, many neighborhood countries distrust the intention of China’s rising, so China expects to improve its relation with neighbor countries while enhances its ability to influence regional affairs. China improved it bilateral relations with GMS Countries mainly through GMS economic cooperation, china participation in GMS economic cooperation not only improved its political and economic relations with GMS Countries but also provide an new market for the economic development of Yunnan and Guangxi. China in order to promote the economic relations between china and GMS Countries, China has already undergo many economic cooperation with GMS Countries in different levels and channels, GMS is the most important mechanism among all the economic cooperation between China and GMS Countries, China’s main purposes to participate in GMS is to push quicker economic development of Yunnan and Guangxi. GMS Countries is also the main trade partner、investment area 、industrial cooperation partners of Yunnan and Guangxi. In order to stabilize it’s bilateral relations with GMS Countries, China begins to undergo a series of economic cooperation with GMS Countries, As GMS Countries becomes more dependency on China, on the other hand china’s regional influences will increase eventually.
