Three questionnaires including basic personal information, students' academic stress scale and school adjustment scale were employed to collect data. Participators were those players attending the woodball qualifying competition of national junior high school in the 102th academic year. 313 woodball players were invited to fill out the questionnaires. Descriptive statistics, independent sample t test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation and multiple regressions were adopted to analyze the data. Results were described as follows. (1) Secondary school woodball players had moderate high scores of academic stress and school adjustment. (2) Players had significantly different academic stress scores based on various variables of gender, grade, academic instructors parenting attitudes, dating coach rearing attitude, the average score, check whether the remedial teaching and sports classes. (3) Players had significantly different school adjustment scores based on various variables of gender, the number of weekly training, weekly training time, parents, tutors and coaches for students' academic parenting attitudes, parents, tutors and coaches dating rearing attitude to students, parents, tutors and coaches for students conventional rearing attitude, the GPA score. (4) Players’ academic stress scores had significant negative correlation with the scores of school adjustment. Further, some suggestions were provided for school and relevant administration.
