We discussed landslide events happened at Alishan (Woo- wan-chai) and Jiufen area. We used field surveys and combined with PLAXIS and STABL softwares as the research method, and under the influence of normal days, earthquakes, and heavy rains to comparing the safety factor with the rule 73 of Technical Specifications of Soil and Water Conservation. The analysis result of Jiufen indicates that slide maximum displacement shows up on Qingbian road which fits with field survey; and Janbu circular failure surface of the M sliding block, the results close to the monitoring trends of slide depth. Another maximum displacement occurred at Woo- wan-chai is on the fifth curve of upper slope, almost matching B-3 monitoring data. This study attempts to simulate the different slopes which can matching with the monitoring results and software analysis. The related research could be provided reasonable forewarning management values in the future. Lee, Chin-Yu 李錦育 2013 學位論文 ; thesis 112 zh-TW
