Furthermore, based on students' different background variables, this study compared the differences of personality traits, interpersonal relationships and school bullying behaviors. Finally, this study analyzed and explored the relationships among personality traits, interpersonal relationships and school bullying behaviors of elementary school senior grades students in Kaohsiung city. This study adopted a questionnaire survey as the research method, and developed The questionnaire of elementary school students' daily life experiences which included a Personality Scale, an Interpersonal Relationship Scale and a Survey on bullying behaviors in elementary schools. The research participants were 5th- and 6th- grade students in Kaohsiung city (n = 747). Then the data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, Chi-square, T-test, one-way ANOVA, Canonical Correlation, and the results were as follows: 1. The personality traits of 5th- and 6th-grade students were good, and the highest was "agreeableness". 2. The interpersonal relationship of 5th- and 6th-grade students were good, and the highest was "the relationship with peer". 3. Although bullying behaviors of 5th- and 6th-grade students did not happen very often, "verbal bullying" and "relational bullying" occurred frequently. 4. The personality traits of "agreeableness", "conscientiousness" and "neuroticism" were significantly more obvious on 5th- and 6th-grade girls than on boys. 5. The personality traits of "openness" and "extraversion" were significantly more obvious on 5th-grade students than on 6th -grade students. 6. The interpersonal relationship of 5th- and 6th-grade girls were significantly better than boys. 7. 5th-grade students’interpersonal relationships with parents, siblings and teachers were significantly better than 6th-grade students. 8. "Sexual bullying" and "physical bullying" happened more often on 5th- and 6th-grade boys than on girls, while relational bullying occurred more often on girls than on boys. 9. The better the personality traits of 5th- and 6th- grade students showed, the better their interpersonal relationship were. 10. The better 5th- and 6th-grade students developed interpersonal relationship with sinblings, teachers and peers, the less sexual bullying occurred on campus. 11. "Bullying behaviors" on campus became less when friendliless is more obvious on 5th- and 6th- grade students and they were also less neuroticism. Based on the findings of this study, the researcher makes some suggestions for teachers, parents and further studies.
