Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 視覺藝術學系碩士班 === 101 === In this thesis, the artist illustrates how her art works, influenced by Maurice Merleau-Ponty’s philosophy of perceptions, reflect social phenomena. With a focus on blue collars, female, non-mainstream and rebirth, this study presented an innovative concept of art. The goal of the research is to convey the aesthetic values and humanism in life based on phenomenology of the perception and minimalism. The sixteen art pieces, including “The Power of Baskets”, “Spicy World”, “View from the Mars” and “Decay vs. Rebirth”, use various media and methods, such as photography manipulation and installation art to express brand new interpretations of the topics. Through the process of constructing structural consciousness, the artist attempted to clarify self-recognition. Through analyzing and introspecting, the study revealed the connotation and characteristic of the works, and the meaning to artist’s life.
