The approach of the study was based on the case study of Qualitative research、and the data were collected by semi-structured interview with 7 interviewees、including the teacher、the practice teacher、and five Vietmanese spouses who have been in Taiwan for over 5 years and are able to express themselves quite fluently in Chinese. The research field took place at a community college in Pintung. The findings of this study are as follows: The learning motives of the foreign spouses came out from 4 needs. First、empower their abilities to adapt themselves into Taiwanese society、such as getting the ID of the Republic of China、increasing their competence on children’s teaching and having better jobs. Second、fight for more personal rooms which allow themselves temporarily to get away from the pressure of trifles or jobs. Also they need a way to speak up their feeling of carrying too much distress. The last but not the least is to restructure their own successful images from recovering their own confidence、liberating from the stresses and achieving their self-fulfillment. The obstructions of the foreign spouses on CSL learning are from their family’s low supports、overloading work and the inadequate helps and attitudes from the classmates or the teachers. The diminishing learning motives are also against the foreign spouses themselves. Furthermore、the learning barriers on CSL learning also stop the learners's interests、such as incorrect accents、unable to precise expression and poor literacy in Chinese. Suggestions based on the research are provided as below: 1. To the immigration agency、offer the helpful programs and the fine cooperative network for the families based on the interracial marriages. 2. To the school authority、promote the ideas of the multinational cultures and the racial equality and the school teachers should have enough understanding to their own foreign students's background knowledge. 3. To the local government、extend the learning hours of the literacy programs for the foreign spouses. 4. To those who care about the issues of foreign spouses's learning、use action researches to approach and develop the various issues of the foreign spouses who have been in Taiwan for 5 years or longer.
