In addition, targeting the practical workers and college and university archive managers’ perceived importance of the constructed indicators and their actual feelings, a questionnaire was conducted. Therefore, this research is divided into two parts: The first part is the college and university knowledge management and school culture applied in the construction of archive management indicators. The Modified Delphi Technique was adopted for the research investing; the second part is the questionnaire for the perceived college and university archive knowledge management and archive cultures. Targeting all the archive managers in colleges and universities nationwide, the perceived importance and actual feelings were investigated. It is expected that with theory and practice combined, the constructed indicators can be truly implemented in college and university archive management. As for the college and university knowledge management and school culture applied in the construction of archive management indicators through Modified Delphi Technique, 14 scholars and experts were invited to form the team of Modified Delphi Technique scholars and expert and conduct 3 rounds of the Delphi Technique questionnaire survey. Additionally, the opinions of the scholars and experts were compiled to serve as the basis for constructing the indicators. As for the questionnaire for college and university archive knowledge management and archive cultural perception, based on the size of the school archive management unit, 1-2 questionnaire copies were distributed. Of the 238 questionnaire copies distributed, 176 copies were recovered, accounting for the recovery rate of 73.95%; 170 copies were valid, and 6 copies were invalid. The valid questionnaires copies accounted for 96.59% of all the questionnaire copies recovered. The data obtained underwent analysis through descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and correlation. The results are as follows: 1. The college and university archive knowledge management and school culture applied in the construction of archive management indicators are divided into two aspects: archive knowledge management and archive culture, a total of 65 indicators. 2. Concerning the personal background variables of the college and university archive managers, females aged 40-49 years old, with less than 5 years of service in the current job and university education comprise the majority. 3. The college and university archive managers with different school background variables show significant differences in the perceived importance of archive knowledge management, public colleges and universities being higher than that of private colleges and universities. 4. The college and university archive managers with different school background variables show significant differences in the perceived importance of archive culture, public colleges and universities being higher than that of private colleges and universities; colleges and universities in Southern Taiwan being higher than that of colleges and universities in Northern Taiwan. 5. Regardless of archive knowledge management or archive culture, there is a gap between college and university archive managers’ personal perception and their actual feelings of importance in the real situation. 6. Archive knowledge management and archive culture show a moderately positive correlation. Finally, based on the study compilation, conclusions were drawn and specific recommendations were made as a reference for competent authorities, colleges and universities, as well as follow-up research.
