碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 體育學系碩士班 === 101 === The purpose of this study was to investigate a polio patient's (author's father) life story. The story is elucidated to understand his life, and to know how he went through and overcame his physical disability with difficult conditions by virtue of his happiness password. Also, how he can live, encounter, and explore his wonderful life like normal humankind, with a positive and optimistic attitude. In order to dig in the private story of the patient’s happiness password, narrative research method was performed. It was engaged in data collection, interviews, and analysis for the patient, his family members, and others key relatives. The critical results of the patient's happiness password for encountering with his defect are included regard the disability as normal and keep hardworking and perseverant attitudes, responsibility of household, thanksgiving, and actively helping to those in need as well as positively love life by physical activity. As happiness password opens, the patient can struggle with adversity through thinking bright side, active responsibility, hardworking and perseverant, and grateful heart and mind respond to pay all external aid, in addition to positively participation in health and leisure activities to keep healthy and ensure his life can be full of colorful happiness and kept going on.
