Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 教育心理與輔導學系碩士班 === 101 === The purpose of this research is to understand the profiles of the life stories of 3 juvenile delinquents and their ability to turn their lives back to track. Three participants were recruited for in-depth interviews, and the collected data was analyzed from the “holistic-content” perspective. The research findings can be summarized into two main categories: 1). Profiles of the life stories The life stories of the three participants vary individually, and each life story is unique, and the interviewees’ interpretations of his life experiences are different according to different times and positions, and therefore cannot be categorized or explained based on a single theory or a particular developmental sequence. The profiles of the life narratives of the three participants can be divided into five stages: broken childhood – gaining capabilities through challenges; invisible wings – accumulating successful experience; scraping life abyss – recklessly taking a stand for others; metamorphosis – seeing one’s life trajectory and longing for the future; and full-fledged flight – embracing a new life. 2). Ability to turn lives back to track Their personal strength includes perseverance, striving for growth, refusing to admit defeat, and pursuing a sense of accomplishment. The non-personal strength includes family support, daughters, peers, and experiences in correctional institutions. Finally, according to aforementioned, some further suggestions for counseling, correctional institutions, and future studies are provided.
