To obtain this information, 300 new-inhabitant students were selected to complete the questionnaire, where 290 questionnaires were returned. The return rate was 96.67% and the valid rate was 93.33%. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, pearson correlation analysis, and stepwise regression. The findings of this study are as followings: 1.The perceptions from new-inhabitant students about “authoritative parenting style” are positive and frequent, and the followings are “authoritarian parenting style”, “spoiling parenting style”, and “neglected parenting style”. 2.The perceptions from new-inhabitant children about “learning adaptation” are positive, and they feel satisfied about “learning adaptation” the most. 3.“Spoiling parenting style” often appears in female students, and only one child’s new-inhabitant family. 4.Female, live with gradnparents, and mothers’ jobs are business’s new-inhabitant students have better behaviors in learning adaptation. 5.If mother takes “authoritative parenting style”, their children will have better behaviors in learning adaptation. 6.New-inhabitant mothers’ “authoritative parenting style” affects students learning adaptation the most in Pintung’s new-inhabitant students.
