The research took elementary pupils who worked in public elementary schools of Pingtung City in 2012 as subjects, used self-made "attitude of Pingtung County elementary school teachers' professional knowledge of the rule of law and the abolition of death penalty issues questionnaire as a research tool, stratified cluster sampling in accordance with the school district, collected a total of 35 schools, re-conception extract the urban schools extraction Teachers 10-30, 10-20 people, rural type school extracting teachers the remote type schools extraction Teachers 8-10, Total 500 teachers as our study sample, recycling valid questionnaires were 465 copies resulting owned data average number of standard difference, t-test, single factor changed between the number of analysis, Pearson correlation, stepwise multiple regression analysis and other statistical methods into the behavior data analysis The main conclusions are as follows:
1. Elementary teachers' professional knowledge of the rule of law is generally good, the "rule of law, professional cognitive best.
2. The attitude of the elementary school teachers on the abolition of death penalty issues generally tend to support the death penalty, which the "humanitarian" the highest, followed by the "victim stance" criminal policy "," Judicial Practice "and" threat effect ".
3. Elementary school teachers of religious belief, is married and support the death penalty, the rule of law and professional knowledge better.
4. Elementary teachers' beliefs religion, divorce and support for the death penalty, and more inclined to support of the death penalty policy concern for the victims.
5. Elementary school teachers in the rule of law professional knowledge the better, more positive attitude in the abolition of death penalty issues tend to support the death penalty, including the attitude of the professional attitude of the rule of law and the abolition of death penalty issues more closely connected.
6. Teachers' professional knowledge of the rule of law on the greatest impact on the attitude of the professional attitude of the rule of law on the abolition of death penalty issues.
Based on the research conclusions, the author provided some suggestions to the education administrative organs, judicial organs and future researches for references.
