A long with the environmental protection consciousness and green energy are the growing trend, after a long study and the development by Western country the wind energy generation technology is trending commercialized, not only focus on developing MW level power unit but the small wind turbine is also very versatile with a huge potential in the market.The small middle size of the wind turbine industry chain is completed and the product has its distinguished feature, however, Taiwan National Penghu University of Science and Technology has done the test on a few of the commercial small wind turbine, but it has not been experience in a real condition and the authorized seller is trying to provide the accurate data. Up to now, the detect stander and related test sources in Taiwan are still very limited, even with the eligibility, rule and test ground. Because of lacking of the recourses, it creates a big impact on the product. This proposal is base on the Wind Park and the Small and Medium Wind Turbine Test Verification Field in National Penghu University of Science and Technology. The discussion would be focus on the location and equipment. The research will focus on the small wind turbine power performance measurements.
