The main aim of this study is to identify the influences of knowledge management upon the job satisfaction. Does satisfaction increase when we apply KM in the six-year high schools of Ping-tung County? We find: (1) Enhancing KM infrastructures is able to increase the capabilities of KM significantly. (2) Enhancing KM infrastructures is able to increase job satisfaction significantly. (3) Organization culture is the most important factor of the KM infrastructures. (4) Knowledge conversion is the most important factor of the KM capabilities. (5) Relationship and work environment are the two most important factors of job satisfaction. In order to increase job satisfaction and competitiveness, we suggest that six-year high schools in Ping-tung county (a)develop an organization culture of cooperation, trust, and learning, (b)build a work environment to support learning-teaching activities and administrative works, and (c) establish strategic alliances to gain knowledge that organization needs with multiple ways.
