Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 體育學系 === 101 === The study was the action research on the teaching games for understanding on basketball. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness study of usingTeaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) on basketball in the elementary classroom toward cognition, objective skills, game performance, perspective,and to understand the students' differences between learning effects and to further understand the teaching and research in teaching teachers and students' feelings and ideas.Research in TGfU curriculum design approach, an teaching teacher and the study of Kaohsiung City Elementary School sixth graders, there were thirty-two students participated in this study (16 boys and 16 girls). They taked ten lessons designed on basketball class. In terms of quantitative research,the analytical data were processed by t-test,and further cognitive questionnaire,and pre- and post-test of objective skill performance were compared. In terms of qualitative research, the data collected by teachers’ observation and retrospection, students’ interviews and worksheets. This research was conducted by both qualitative and quantitative research.The results were as follows:(1)There were significantly learning effects on cognition and game performance of the class, boys and girls; and there were significant different on objective skill of the class and girls.(2)Content for class ,students were affirmative , and that was helpful for learning effects.(3)Students of different gender could enhance the concept of gender equality. (4)In the process of teacher study, there were four problems:curriculum design, teaching situation, teaching time and the game performance. Researchers had proposed for teaching problem solving methods are: to enrich professional knowledge, to create the best learning environment, teachers prior simulation teaching, heterogeneous grouping flexible adjustment. Based on the research results of the discussion the following conclusions: (1)TGfU could enhance the learning effects, and students can be implemented in the physical education curriculum. (2)Students think that TGfU was helpful for affection learning and gender equality on basketball. (3)After implementing TGfU, teachers could enhance professional and problem-solving abilities.
