(2) To explore the influence between the family background and the stress of the boarding juniors. (3) To analyze the differences of various backgrounds from the stress of boarding juniors. (4) To explore the influence of stress from living in dormitory. This study used questionnaires sampling to the boarding junior students of Pumen Senior High School. There were totally 476 questionnaires issued, 473 of which were responded including 448 valid questionnaires which means the efficient rate is 94.71%. In this study, the methods of descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, relation analysis, t-test and ANOVA, the Pearson product moment correlation analysis, regression analysis, and so forth, are utilized to proceed and complete the statistical analysis. The following are the results of this study: (1) The group daily routines stress of the boarding juniors in Pumen Senior High School bother those kids. Among them the highest stress is from “school life”. (2) There are parts of stress coming from the different family backgrounds especially in “family discipline style” and “family economic status”. (3) As to the individual background with reference to the boarking juniors stick to the “gender” and “form” which are the most different items in this study report. (4) Boarding has the positive influence in “living stress and peer relationship”, but it is negative in “living stress and environment”. All of the above-mentioned conclusions are according to the complete study and discussion, and hope to offer some suggestions to the relevant field participants.
