With the development of knowledge-based economy, enterprises have gradually transformed the business value and experience into physical assets through the knowledge management. The enterprise builds up its core competency and knowledge to increase the competency of the enterprise and create lots of value. Meanwhile, the enterprise can employ knowledge management to achieve its target more efficiently. Without doubt, schools are believed to be the wonderful places to create and promote important messages. As a result, knowledge management plays an important part at schools. On the other, advances on the professional growth have led to much progress and influence on schools. The present research not only aims to explore the relevant study between the knowledge management and professional growth in Junior High School Teachers in Kaohsiung but analyzes the different perspectives from Junior High School Teachers and various backgrounds of schools as well. Referred to the document discussion session, the questionnaire data were examined how correlative between the knowledge management and professional growth in Junior High School Teachers in Kaohsiung. Totally, 647 valid responses were retrieved. The final valid response rate was 98.03%. In terms of the research through SPSS statistical software, the surveys were analyzed by descriptive statics , independent sample t test, one-way ANOVA analysis and Pearson correlation analysis, etc. Generally speaking, the result of the investigation indicates that the current state of Junior High School Teachers with overall knowledge management is great. Correlation between knowledge management at schools and teacher’s professional growth is significantly positive. It is believed that teachers work hard on the knowledge management and they simultaneously achieve the goal on their professional growth. As far as the entire result concerned, the more execution of knowledge management at school is, the better performance of teacher’s professional growth is. The conclusion of the research are synthesized as follows. Most junior high schools have gradually implemented the processes on the knowledge management though it is required to improve some practices. The gender, job function, high education background and service seniority on the perception of knowledge management and professional for teachers of junior high schools present a significant difference. From what the researcher has mentioned above, the researcher puts forward some suggestions based on the study results, some suggestions and inspirations were proposed for our staff in educational administrative organizations, administrative staff in junior high schools and teachers that are interested to promote knowledge management for reference resources in the future.
