Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 電子工程學系 === 101 === This thesis presents the distortion-analysis and low-power techniques of mixers. For distortion analysis techniques, a vanished intermodulation notch in the up-conversion mixer due to package and board effects is studied using a Taylor series. The three-dimensional chip-package-board interconnect is established in an EM simulator to calculate Z- and Y-parameters, extracting the equivalent element quantities of the ground and IF-signal interconnects. For low power techniques, the first low power mixer using bulk-driven technique is designed and implemented using the TSMC 0.18 μm CMOS process technology. Its power consumption is only 329 μW under 0.6 V supply voltage. The second SiGe bulk-driven mixer using a transformer to reduce the LO power of bulk-driven mixers. It is designed and implemented using the TSMC 0.18 μm SiGe BiCMOS process technology.
