Not only did he achieve extremely high accomplishment musically, he also acquired very special taste in literature. Other then his famous lieder and instrumental works, Schumann’s piano works are a major part of his compositions. This research paper discusses Schumann’s Three Rmances for Oboe and Piano, Op. 94. It concentrates on Schumann’s compositional background, formal structure of the work, and the relationship between the piano and the oboe. It further explores Schumann’s unique personality, as well as how he applied his own musical language into particular composition.
