Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 行銷與流通管理研究所 === 101 === Nowadays the competitive environment for foam industry makes the relationship between the successful sale and improved performance inseparable. This study intends to discuss how suppliers’ power affects their relationship commitment and manufacturer’s performance, and thus proposes some suggestions to improve the traditional way of managing foam industry and to enhance industry competitiveness. There are 57 foam manufacturers in Taiwan and off-shore islands included in this study. Because of the high standard of industry technique and the unique markets, the number of manufacturers for us to study is limited. Thus there are 57 coded valid questionnaires with 100% return rate. With analysis of SEM, the result of this study shows that supplier’s power has positive impact on the relationship commitment and manufacturer’s performance. Based on this fact, suppliers should properly use their power to strengthen the relationship commitment with their manufacturers so as to increase their performance. To suppliers, they should chose channels with advanced conditions in order to promote the performance of both sides and increase the value of their channels.
