Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄海洋科技大學 === 水產食品科學研究所 === 102 === Taiwan tilapia fish scale extrudate was produced from extruder, and then used alkali treatment and alkali-free treatment, drying and grinding to process extrudate. The hot water was used to extract collagen solution (No.A: alkal; No.B: alkali-free) from the extrudates. Both SDS-PAGE and HPLC approach were used to analysis and calculate the molecular weight of collagen. In present study, we used hot air drying, vacuum drying and freeze-drying methods to produce collagen powder, and analyze the moisture retention capacity and moisture absorption propertids of collagen. The collagen concentration used was from 1 to 10% in the formula of facial mask. The mask samples were contacted with human skin for 15~18 minutes. Effects of mask on human skin with moisture retention capacity, moisture absorption capacity, odors and overall acceptance were evaluated. The results showed that the conditions of concentration 10% and contact time 15 minutes obtained the best humectancy performance. In addition, we found that moisture retention capacity was : No. B (hot air drying is 55.18±3.34%), No. A (hot air drying is 54.04±3.43%), No. B (vacuum drying is 53.59±1.48%), No. A (vacuum drying is 53.21±1.59%), No. C (commercially available collagen is 53.40±2.99%) and No. D (commercially available collagen is 51.80±1.38%). The results revealed that hot air drying method was better than vacuum drying method. Results suggested that moisture retention capacity of the mask was increased with the increase of collagen concentration, and decreased with the increasing time after separating the mask from human skin. Extrusion prepared fish scale collagen has excellent moisture retention capacity which is better than the commercially available collagen, and it will be applied to the development of the facial mask.
