Since a large number of electric vehicles may be charged in the same location and at the same time, it can have different levels of impact on local power network and the analysis of their charging behaviors and charging impacts on power quality (PQ) is important. The aim of this thesis is to establish a PQ monitoring system to investigate the quality of power in EVs charging stations for different types of customers and EVs business operation. The recorded data are used to calculate different PQ of various parameters indices such as harmonics, voltage unbalance, and voltage variation events. The related measuring techniques include selection of monitoring locations, threshold settings of recorder, the ability to capture events, and the data collection and analysis are included in this thesis.
