When the hydraulic technology was not matured around that time, a brand new semi-hydraulic filling engineering was applied to construct the dam, which caused almost no harm to the ecological environment. This is rarely precedent in the world of Civil Engineering. The completion of Chianan Irrigation System changed the rain-fed paddy field into the most productive barn in Taiwan and the completion of Wushantou Reservoir resolved the problem of long lasting water shortage in Chianan Plain. The Chianan Irrigation System and Wushantou Reservoir, therefore, are considered as an outstanding, classic hydraulic engineering. Both the planning and design by Japanese technician Yoichi Hatta and the beautiful lake view of Shanhutan are the precious landscape of an era. Wushantou Reservoir is the pioneer and living history of Taiwan’s hydraulic engineering. Leisure recreation is no longer the only purpose in tourism nowadays. Tours with learning and education nature have increased gradually and the tourist emphases more and more on if they can gain new experience in the tour. The historical materials and historical sites, which are difficult to maintain, can be built and kept in the digital world using and digital multimedia technology such that these historical pieces will not disappear due to extrinsic causes. Thus, the techniques of digital creativity and the concept of value addition are used to integrate the historical records and information and then to construct a iii various dimensional digital creativity elegancy for future generation to understand ancestor’s history and events. Therefore, how to properly collect and market, via digital creativity and value-added technology, a hydraulic facility full of extraordinary humanity, methodology and history to achieve the preservation and activation of the cultural history is indeed a meaningful research topic. Using 2D flash e-book, sketch up digital simulation, panoramic photography and filming, this research presents themes of technician Yoichi Hatta, Wushantou Reservoir and Taiwan’s potential world heritage sites over Google Map internet platform through cross-domain integration and fully annotate the glorious history and characteristics of humanity. The in-depth tourism to explore and construct the history of culture origin is integrated for the compatriot to understand and absorb the correct viewpoint on world heritage and, therefore, connect with the world the trend on the protection of local culture and nature heritage. It is wished that this research can initiate similar efforts on other potential sites to increase Taiwan’s visibility in the world. Teng-Ming Lai 賴登明 2013 學位論文 ; thesis 129 zh-TW
