| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 藝術教育與創作碩士班 === 101 === In this writing, I will elaborate my creative concept between 2009 and 2012 which was formed by transforming and re-arranging visual space about where I live in a series of art works. By doing so, I will explore myself through the memory of space and people in the city, to find the meaning of “perspective”.
There will be five chapters.
In Chapter I: An Elaboration of Space, I will explore the meaning of space
as everyone plays his or her role in his or her living space. From 2009, I have been aware of the impact of space and have expressed it in my works from the memory of people around me, as well as events and objects that exist in my life.
In Chapter II: The Rhythm of Space, I will define the properties of space and the purpose function of creative space through the writing of The Prearly Gates of Cyberspace A history of space from Dante to the Internet . From ancient Greek’s discovery of perspective and its evolution, I will review this impact on today’s application and comparison it with my creative works. By studying other artists’ works that also work with perspective practice, I will form my own creative concept, as well as the analysis of experiment during the processes of making art.
In Chapter III: The Material Furnace, a new experimental creation will be presented by combining my ink paintings during my college study with multiple materials. Drawing the pattern of pines with the effect of ink and the texture, the combining with oil paint, I will develop an art system with multiple materials.
In Chapter IV: “Urban Renewal” , I will present and analysis five series of art works: “Natural and Artificial”, “Urban Excavation Plans”, “Organic City plan”, “a Soft-woven-fabric-like City, and “City Domain”.
In Chapter V: “Conclusions”, the concept about my memory will be developed by as series of art work by experimental materials and presentation in two-dimensional paintings.
