| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 人資處語文教學碩士班 === 101 === This article is aim to present the real life of Ｔao people through native homeland writing and field photography works .
Base on the narratives works of Ｔao native writer - Syman Rapongan and Guan Xiao-Rong,a realistic photographer ,with his field observation on Orchid Island . This two narrators ,one through homeland writing ,the other with images. In the writing of Syman Rapongan ,there is no political ideology, but the strong resistance to external hegemony ;there is no meaningless sighs about nostalgia but the blood from hisＴao root.
We could have self- reflectiveness of the arrogance from main stream culture and how aboriginals are loosing their cultures and societies traits. Under the scope of Guan Xiao-Rong ,representing howＴao people facing modern issues such as the youth whom protest against nuclear waste and the children whom are forced to be educated under Han ideology. Guan is seeking the recognition from audience .
Their works provide reader an non-tourism literature leisure but a deeper reflective thinking and identity to ourselves and the others .
