Summary: | 碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 人資處體育碩士專班 === 101 === The present research aims to investigate the differences of muscle activity in electromyography measurement to exam the over-shoulder throw. Nine elementary school students without previous upper limbs injuries and volunteered to involve the experiment who were asked to learned and practiced in lasting eight weeks. Wireless electromyography was used to measure the eight parts of muscle activation of target limbs of upper and lower extremities (Bicep and triceps femoris, extensor and flexor carpi radialis, rectus femoris, tibialis anterior and gastrocemius). Paired t-test was choosing to compare the difference after guideline and practice teaching (α=.05). EMG process was investigating through refer to fundamental process (bandpass: 20~500Hz, Absolute, and low-pass filter:6Hz) during the period of throwing. The research utilized maximal volunteer contraction (MVC) to normalize the individual difference and performed by percentage. Results shows measurement of EMG has shown the different in maximal muscle activation in bicep femoris during the pre- and post-swing phase. It reveals significant difference of velocity of ball throwing after practiced. In conclusion revealed that muscle activated more during throwing located in triceps, flexor carpi, extensor carpi, biceps and gastrocnemius between the reduced velocity phase and rectus femoris and tibialis anterior performed activated as increased velocity phase. We suggest coach, player, and persons who want to improve and enhance more throwing performance could choose above muscle and guideline for promote more efficiency and achievement of throwing, especially, the period degree and step extended to prevent injury and enhance performance.
