This study designed “vocational-rebuilding curriculum” and solution-focused group counseling, and explored the immediate and follow-up counseling effects of dysphrenia’s life quality and self- efficacy of dysphrenia. The study used the quasi-experimental design. The subjects consisted of 20 dysphrenia in the central region of a mental rehabilitation home. These dysphrenia were assigned randomly to experiment group and control group. The experimental group attended the 8-sessions(once a week) “vocational-rebuilding curriculum”, and the control group attended 8-sessions(once a week) general training course.
Outcome measures were administered at pretest, post-test and follow-up test by "Self- Efficacy Scale" and "Life Quality Scale". The data obtained were statistically tested with ANCOVA and MANCOVA respectively. The results of this study were as follows:
1. The “vocational-rebuilding curriculum” had significant immediate and follow-up counseling effects on Self-Efficacy Scale of dysphrenia.
2. The “vocational-rebuilding curriculum” had significant immediate and follow-up counseling effects on Life Quality Scale of dysphrenia.
In the light of above findings, conclusions and recommendations were offered for counselors and advanced researches.
