1. Discuss the content and the teaching techniques of visual art and creative thinking.
2.Discuss the influence of visual art and creative thinking on the students’ performances on creative thinking activities.
3.Discuss the influence of visual art and creative thinking on the students’ their creative aptitude performances.
In order to observe how visual art and creative thinking teaching methods to improve their creativity, on this study, pre-test and post-test of William’s Creatvity Test is applied to examine and evaluate the 4th and the 6th grade. The results of this study are stated as the following:
1. The influence on students of their creative thinking activities performance:
As for different grade of students, the 4th and the 6th have significant improvement on their creative thinking activities after the creative thinking teaching method applied to them. But both groups of students show no differences on the post-test. Male and female students show significant improvement on the Test of Divergent Thinking before and after the teaching method. As for different sexes, the female students show better performance than the male ones on the post-test after receiving the teaching method.
2. The influence on students of their creative aptitude performance:
Considering the different grade of students, the 4th show significant improvement on the Test of Divergent Feeling before and after receiving the teaching method. However, the 6th show little improvement. And both the 4th and the 6th show little differences on the post-test. Considering the difference of sexes, the male students show significant improvement on the Test of Divergent Feeling after receiving the creative thinking teaching method. On the other hand, the female ones show little improvement. Different sexes show no significant differences on the post-test after receiving the teaching. method.
