Summary: | 碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 人資處社會學習領域碩士班 === 101 === This study aims to explore Zhubei City, Hsinchu County elementary schools students’ money attitude and their consumer behavior. In order to reach these purposes, this study takes the related literature as a base to understand the concept, theory foundation and research tools. A questionnaire, titled “Elementary 5th and 6th graders’ Money Attitude and Consumer Behavior”, is used as the main research method. The major participants are 5th and 6th graders who are currently studying at national elementary schools in Zhubei City, Hsinchu County . Through stratified cluster sampling, a total of 1329 valid questionnaires were obtained and further analyzed using descriptive statistics methods, such as t-test, ANOVA analysis, canonical correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The findings are as follows:
1. The level of elementary school students’ money-attitude acceptance is 3.328 out of five-point scale, which achieves the up-middle level. The “Budget Action” , “Quality ” is highly recognized.
2. The higher grade students’ using money attitude will be depended on their gender, school grade, birth order, stable allowance, parents education, parents age, family style, if the students have a saving habit, or how much they allowance-saving weekly. They have different concepts based on the above conditions.
3. If the elementary higher-grade students’ the reorganization level of consumer behavior acceptance is 2.942 of the five-point scale, it is achieved the middle level. It means it has highly agreement in “Practical Style”.
4. The elementary higher-grade students’ the reorganization of consumer behavior is according to gender, number of siblings, stable allowance, times of weekly allowance, parents age, parents jobs, and family style, They have different concepts based on the above conditions.
5. Their money attitude is significantly correlated with their consumer behavior.
6. Elementary school students’ attitude toward to money can predict their consumer behavior.
Based on the findings, several recommendations are proposed as reference for family and school education in order to promote economic education in Taiwan.
