The study surveys 298 valid observations from non-commissioned officers of the Marine Corps and uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to confirm the relationship among Core self-evaluations, psychological empowerment and work engagement. The results indicate that CSE could have a positive impact on job through psychological empowerment. Those non-commissioned officers(NCO) with high core self-evaluations could get higher feeling for psychological empowerment. And those non-commissioned officers with high psychological empowerment could get a more engagement on their job. This study suggests that it could take CSE as one of the conditions as reference when the Military go on the process of recruitment in the future. Supervisor should give higher job autonomy for those subordinates who had higher CSE, enhance the work efficiency.
