Description
Summary:博士 === 國立東華大學 === 化學系 === 101 === In this thesis, I will present the contributions I have achieved in the development of d10 metal hydride complexes with dithio-donor ligands, for the ligands dithiophosphate, [S2P(OR)2]–, i-MNT, [S2CC(CN)2]2–, dithiocarbamate, [S2CNR2]–. The objectives were to elucidate the preparation, structure, and reactivity of the target compounds as well as the investigation of their potential application. In Chapter 1, the transition metal hydride cluster chemistry is introduced. The synthesis, characterization, related properties and further application of transition metal hydride complexes are conceptually described. In Chapter 2, the syntheses, structural characterization, and chemical properties of a series of hydride d10 metal cluster supported dithiophosphates (dtp), 1,1-dicyanoethylene-2,2-dithiolate (i-MNT) and dithiocarbamates (dtc) are described in this chapter. In Chapter 3, we disclose the development of first rhombicuboctahedral [Cu28(H)15(dtc)12](PF6) clusters, which are air- and moisture-stable complexes. This copper polyhydrides cluster have unprecedented structure for transition metal cluster species, and also have interstitial, truncating, and capping hydrides ligands with them and thus are potential models for hydrogen storage materials. In Chapter 4, we present the synthesis, structural characterization, photophysical property, and DFT calculation on the new class of luminescent hydride-encapsulating sliver cluster, [Ag11(H){S2CNnPr2}9](NO3), which silver framework constitutes an unusual hexacapped trigonal bipyramid. Also reported the new syntheses and structural characterization of two chalcogenide-encapsulating polysilver clusters.
