The traditional TCP/IP protocol suit cannot be applied too and a specific protocol to this networking environment is needed. The DTN routing usually uses the store-carry-and-forward method in data transfer. If the connection is interrupted, data will be stored in the buffer until a connection is established with other suitable nodes. The routing design is challenging since there are many variable factors in such environment. The publish and subscribe system uses brokers to transfer interesting messages. This approach cannot be applied to the DTN, since the brokers may exhaust resources due to lot of message forwarding. Therefore, this thesis proposes a strategy to disseminate messages according to the user’s interests. The proposed method is based on a quota-based routing that can adaptively control the number of replicated messages to fit the network performance and does not affect the delivery rate because of different group sizes. Finally, our results show that the proposed method produces favorable message transfer performance in a variety of group sizes. Shou-Chih Lo 羅壽之 2013 學位論文 ; thesis 65
