Summary: | 碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 課程設計與潛能開發學系 === 101 === This study aims to investigate factors that contribute to teacher’s behavioral intention to use the online community. The selected case is “Sakizaya Network for Teaching Group” (abbreviated as Sakizaya) in Hualien County. The purposes of this study is fourfold: (1) to conduct a survey on the present situations of elementary school and junior high school teacher’s behavioral intention to use the online community “Sakizaya” in Hualien County; (2) to investigate how background variables influence elementary school and junior high school teacher’s behavioral intention to use “Sakizaya” in Hualien County; (3) to empirically test competing theories and previous researches that explain the influencing factors of using “Sakizaya”; (4) to sum up the characteristics and user positioning of “Sakizaya” based on the data analysis.
To answer the research questions, the survey instrument--The Teacher’s Behavioral Intention to Use the Online Community Questionnaire was designed and performed on simple random samples. The target population was the elementary school and junior high school teachers in Hualien County who is the users of “Sakizaya”. 320 respondents participated in the survey. 80 out of 81 completed questionnaires were valid. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistic, independent sampling t-test, one-way ANOVA and regression analysis. The results of this study show that: (1) the elementary school and junior high school teachers in Hualien County have a positive intention for using “Sakizaya”; (2) the elementary school teachers are more likely than junior high school teachers to find it easy to use “Sakizaya”; (3) participate in the contest more times, the higher the frequency of use, the longer the contact time will more feel “Sakizaya” easy to use; (4) all the research hypotheses are supported by regression analysis except for the relationship between Self-efficacy and Attitude; Collective efficacy and Behavioral Intention; Subjective Norm and Behavioral Intention, respectively; (5) the characteristics and user positioning of “Sakizaya” was the implement of professional cyber-team competition and high-quality professional development for teachers. Finally, this study raised implications and provides suggestions for the web developer of “Sakizaya”, elementary school and junior high school teachers and following research.
