Summary: | 碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 特殊教育學系 === 101 === This study was carried out according to an A-B-A-B design. Against a special education schooloverweight students by Nintendo Wii balance board combined with Shih Ching-Hsiang Professor cursor the automatic positioning technology and game software. Observing his jumping times as well as the overall activity’s increased situation.
Single-subject experiment is used as the research method in the study, and the study was performed according to an A-B-A-B design. The study is divided into four phases, including: baseline phase(A1), first intervention phases (B1), withdrawal and reversal phases(A2), and second intervention phases(B2).
At the beginning, the average frequency of Student A’s to complete a jump action was 2.6 times in A1 phase. During the first intervention phase (B1), the mean increased to 22.9 times jump. This mean time dropped to 3.8 during the withdrawal and reversal phases (A2) (second baseline phase) and eventually increased to 25.0 times during the second intervention phase (B2). Likewise, similar results have shown on the average jump frequencies on Student B’s test. The differences between the baseline jump frequencies and the intervention jump frequencies were significant (p<.01) based on the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. The results have shown that both participants significantly increased their target response (performing jump activity) by activating the control system to produce their preferred environmental stimulation during the intervention phases.
