| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 諮商與臨床心理學系 === 101 === This paper explore why adolescents using self-mutilation in close-relationship.The purpose of this article is to understand (a) the function of self-multilating in adolescents’ close-relationship. (b) the reason why adolescents using self-mutilation in close-relationship.Reasearcher want to explore the interaction between the participants and one who are important to them, and the reason who adolescents using self-multilation in close-relationship by using the theoretical framework of Attachment and Object Relations Theory.In order to exploration this issue in deep, researcher use Case study methods. By purposive sampling, the research participants were came from the referral by teachers. Finding 3 girls have cut themselves in close-relationship. Researcher interviewed every participant alone with guidelines. For qualitative research, the recording will be collected for analyzing .We had interviewed 3 girls, and then recorded the data to analyze.
Researcher results : By Attachment Theory, Researcher found that different types of attachment may influence the way they choose to regulate their emotion, and it also can that us know the reason why adolescents using self-mutilation in their close-relationship : The person who have secure type attachment will choose suitable way to regulate their emotions when facing life events, but the person who have other three types of attachment seems to be doubt and unsafe easily in their close-relationship, and the functions of self-mutilation can help them to deal the hard of events. By Object-Relations Theory, Researcher found that the early experiences of people may become the unique self. By understanding the self, re searcher found out the core need on their mind. When they get along with their partner, the core need is the reason why the using self-mutilation In close-relationship. In the end, the study also makes suggestion to the practical aspects of future researches and counseling practitioners.
